Joe Spears

Joe Spears joined Omnicell in May 2012 as Vice President of Corporate Finance and soon took on the Corporate Controllership functions within the company. In late 2017, Mr. Spears assumed the role of Chief Accounting Officer—in which he leads the company’s Accounting, Tax, External Reporting, Corporate FP&A, and Travel activities. Prior to joining Omnicell, he served as Senior Director of Corporate Accounting Operations at eBay for eight years and was instrumental in building a global accounting organization to support eBay’s rapid growth. Mr. Spears previously held senior financial and accounting positions at IBM, Bay Networks, and Nortel Networks. He holds a BA in Business Administration from San Jose State University and is a past board member for the National Association of Black Accountants.
